Comment Policy

We appreciate your engagement and your comments. The ability to comment on WellnessOutpost.com, or on any of its social media outlets, is intended for people to share their opinions and experiences with regards to the information shared by our authors.

We encourage you to share your thoughts and opinions, as long as you’re nice. Our parents always taught us to be nice to others, and we want to make sure you do the same! With that said, here are some guidelines to abide by:

  • Be respectful when you write comments. You may not share the same opinion as the author, or the commenter, but you can always say your opinion with respect.
  • We do not tolerate hateful, abusive, vulgar, threatening, or obscene language.
  • Please refrain from defaming anybody on this blog. We reserve the right to disapprove such comments and to ban abusers.

Please be patient when posting your comments. They have to be moderated before they appear in the comments section. We have to ensure that spammy, hurtful, and abusive comments do not appear on our blog.

Please keep your comments focused on the post and refrain from posting duplicate content. For example, do not talk about the best app that you use for photography when the post is about the benefits of an herb or a spice. This tells us that you are probably a spammer. Add to the conversation by sharing related experiences that can benefit you and other readers.

For safety reasons, please do not post any comments that advocate illegal or dangerous activities. These are not allowed, especially if they are prohibited by state, local, federal, or international laws.

Please refrain from posting phone numbers, addresses, or email addresses in the comments section. The exceptions apply to people with professional credentials who want to post their information on purpose to offer additional analysis, i.e. a local nurse, a therapist offering specific medical services related to a post.

We do not permit any user to collect and store any personal data about other users.

Please try and double check the spelling of your comments. Do not post any comments in CAPS, since they are considered as “yelling” in the online world. If you are posting a lot of material and you continuously have severe spelling or grammatical errors that may give other meanings, we reserve the rights to make corrections or omit these comments from the comments section.

The opinions expressed in the comments section by users do not represent WellnessOutpost.com or any of its volunteers, employees, or associates. You will not hold WellnessOutpost.com or any of its volunteers, employees or associates responsible for any comment you find questionable or offensive on this site.

You will not hold WellnessOutpost.com, any of its volunteers, employees, or associates, responsible for you acting on any of the comments provided here, or any information given in the comments section that may cause harm to your wellness, well-being, or health.

WellnessOutpost.com, its employees, and its agents reserve any right, and not the obligation, to refuse to post or publish any comment(s). We also reserve the right to edit or remove any comment(s) at our discretion.

Please follow the “fair use” doctrine of posting other people’s words. Comments posted on WellnessOutpost.com must be original, and cannot be copyrighted by others. You cannot post duplicate comments from copyrighted work unless you quote the comments and give attribution to the original source. If you’re not sure about any of the copyright laws, just keep your comments original to avoid any issues.
